What it handles

What it handles
FeatureDetails
BCC JSON → SRTBilibili stores subtitles as JSON with from/to in seconds. Each entry becomes a numbered SRT cue.
AI subtitlesBilibili's AI-generated subtitles use the same JSON, so they convert the same way.
TXT for notesStrip the timing to get plain text, optionally with [mm:ss] markers, for notes or an AI prompt.
Line breaks and entitiesMulti-line subtitles keep their breaks; & and similar entities are decoded.
Other formats tooSRT, VTT, ASS/SSA and SBV files are accepted, so this also works as a general converter.

Questions

Why can't I just paste a Bilibili link?
Bilibili only returns subtitles to logged-in viewers; anonymous requests get an empty subtitle list, which we verified on several videos. A website cannot log in on your behalf, so the subtitles have to come from your own logged-in session: through the extension, or by copying the JSON from the browser.
Can I download Bilibili AI subtitles?
Yes. When you are logged in, AI subtitles are served as the same JSON format as uploaded subtitles. Copy the request whose URL contains “ai_subtitle”, or export with the extension.
What is the BCC subtitle format?
BCC is Bilibili's subtitle JSON. It has a body array where each item has from and to (in seconds) and content (the text). This tool converts it into standard SRT or VTT timing.
What if the video has no subtitles?
Then there is nothing to export. The Lumi extension can transcribe the video's audio with speech recognition and produce subtitles you can export.
Where does my data go?
Converted locally. Nothing is uploaded, stored or sent to a server.

The extension exports the subtitles of the Bilibili video you are watching as SRT in one click, and transcribes videos that have no subtitles with speech recognition.
